Cindy Lou Blanton, age 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 1, 2022. She was born in Terre Haute on September 9, 1950, to Charles and Dorothy Hardesty. She was married to Keith Blanton on February 2, 1975. Together they enjoyed 47 years of marriage, travelling between their homes in Florida, Mexico, and Indianapolis. Cindy enjoyed quilting, and was a member of Plainfield Christian Church who loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Keith M. Blanton; children: Rachel (Tim) Johns, and Matthew Blanton; grandchildren: Tristan Molnar, Travis Molnar, Hannah Blanton, and Haylee Blanton; as well as sisters: Donna and Vanessa.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Rd., Plainfield, Indiana, 46168. Private inurnment will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
