Rev. D. Lowell Toussaint 85, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. Born November 12, 1921 in Big Lake, MN to David and Doris (Clark) Toussaint. He married Alverta Toussaint on July 22, 1945 in Wilmore, KY. She survives. Survivors: one son, David G. Toussaint (Sheila) of Fishers; two daughters, Bobbie L. Vore (Dr. Vernon) of Ashland, OH and Mary A. Maxwell (Bill) of Indianapolis; and ten grandchildren. Preceded in death by: his parents and one brother, Robert C. Toussaint. He was a minister for the Untied Methodist Church. He served churches in Milltown, Loogootee, Corydon, Connersville (on Grand Ave.), Spencer, Indianapolis (on New York St.), Cumberland and Fountaintown. Rev. Ted Cutrell will lead a service at 11:00 Wednesday at the Franklin Untied Methodist Community (1070 W. Jefferson St.). Burial: Greenwood Cemetery. Calling: 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Franklin United Methodist Community. Memorial donations may be made to the Christ Untied Methodist Church (8540 US Hwy 31, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
