Emma Jean Lee

Emma Jean Lee, 78 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 23, 1933 in Boone County, IN, daughter of the late Virlin and Irene (Giles) Cook. She married Ralph Lee on October 14, 1950. He survives. She was preceded in death by siblings, Evelyn Mitchell, Virginia Otterman, James Cook and Ellen Fosnight. She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to cook, enjoyed working at Tomahawk Hills Golf Course, and play the slots in the casinos. Surviving are her son, James K (Brenda) Lee, daughter, Donna (Larry) McLaughlin, 6 grandchildren; Tilessia Byers, Travis Lee, Kara Johnson, Allison Miller, Andrea Battson & Laura Lee and 9 great-grandchildren. Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 18, 2012, 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Harlan Kincaid officiating.
