Esther Miller, 95 years old of Franklin, IN, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Indiana Masonic Home. She was born May 2, 1917 in Melvin, IL, daughter of the late Homer and Fern Mace Hart. She married Franklin Miller on May 3, 1941. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church and a Past Matron of the Roachdale Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are daughters, Pat (Joe) Smith of Roachdale, Nancy (Jim) Reed of Parkersburg and Stella (Bill) England of Indianapolis, son, Hubert (Roxanne) Miller of Ladoga, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth Hart and Clarence Hart. Friends will be received Saturday, November 17, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana. Graveside service immediately following. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, IN.
