Eva Isabelle Woodrum, 88 years old of Lizton, IN, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Hendricks Regional Hospital. She was born December 5, 1922 in Pittsboro, IN, daughter of the late Charles H. and Myrtle Ragsdale Walter. She married Howard E. Woodrum on March 10, 1950. They were married for 61 years. He survives. She was a member of North Salem Christian Church. Surviving are sons, Ronald (Cindy) Woodrum of Beaver Dam, KY and James L. (Robin) Woodrum of Lizton, daughter, Janet Woodrum of Lizton, sister, Marilyn Gossett of Greenfield, brother, Dwayne Walter of Danville, step-sister, Pat Forrestal of Janesville, WI, step-brother, Fred Punzel of Edgleton, WI, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers & sisters. Friends will be received Monday, May 2, 2:00-7:30 p.m. at the North Salem Christian Church, North Salem, Indiana. Service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with John Gossett and Art Thomas officiating. Private graveside services. Online condolences may be made at porterfuneralhome.us
