Grace Irene Pace, 94 years old of New Market, IN, formerly of Jamestown, died Monday, October 3, 2011 in Parkwood Health Care Center. She was born September 21, 1917 in Hendricks County, IN, daughter of the late Harry A. and Edith Hitchcock Freeland. She married Norman Pace on August 12, 1939. He preceded her in death. Irene was a member of Jamestown Christian Church. She was also a member of the 50+ Club at New Market. Surviving are son, Darrell (Betty) R. Pace, daughter, Darlene (Otis) R. Huckstep, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, William R. Freeland. Friends will be received Thursday, October 6, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Friday, October 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with George Dosher, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Lizton K of P Cemetery, Lizton, Indiana.
