Jerry Lester Bishop, 75 years old of North Salem, IN, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He was the youngest of ten, born October 24, 1937 in Sullivan, IN, to the late Marvin and Delcie Bishop. Jerry married Norma Fitzsimmons on October 20, 1963. She survives. He was a member of North Salem United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, surviving are daughters, Kimberly Hicks, Cindy Barker, and Lisa (Eric) McGinnis, and step-son, William Malayer, and step-daughter Vick Malayer. Family and friends will gather at the North Salem United Methodist Church, Saturday, March 23, 2013, 10 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jerry’s memory to the North Salem United Methodist Church Lift Project, P.O. Box 238, North Salem, IN 46165.
