Linda Sue Dennis was a caring wife, loving mother, adored aunt, proud grandmother, and friend.
On December 12th, Linda Sue Dennis received her wings and went to walk with her many angels. She was 60 years old. Linda was born to Nancy Brooks and James Rice on September 1st, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was one of five children, James, Brenda (Twin) and Kevin, and Chris.
Throughout her life, Linda was a caregiver at her very core, unwavering in her devotion to those she loved, this took on many forms, from direct care of her loved ones to her support and her passion for Lupus Awareness. As a member of the Indiana Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, she spent many years helping to organize walks and fundraisers to help progress national research into Lupus, as well as to provide support to those suffering from its impact. She knew firsthand what it meant to live with Lupus. Through her experience, and her dedication many lives were touched.
She spent most of her life thinking about others before herself. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her final days and ultimately gave her peace. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
Linda considered her family and grandchildren; Hayden, Tanner, Gavin, and Claire to be her pride and joy and would proudly brag about their achievements whenever she had the chance. She was invested in their success, and through that, found her passion. Her unconditional love and support for her family was something that she held very close to her heart. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her final days and ultimately gave her peace. She had a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Her compassion for others and corky sense of humor will never be forgotten. Linda was a wonderful woman that will always be cherished and deeply missed.
