Lisa Janette Nelson, 49, of Jamestown, died Tuesday, December 18 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 3, 1963 the daughter of Butch and Sharon K. (Ambrose) Mormon. She graduated from Southmont High School in 1981 and then went to work for the Brownsburg Health Care Nursing Home where she was a dedicated and loyal employee for over thirty years. She married Virgil J. Nelson on December 14, 2001 in Crawfordsville, he survives. Other survivors include her father; son Matthew (Lindsey) Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother Ron Moore of Brownsburg; grandchildren Caitlin and Ryan Moore; niece Marissa Mormon and nephew Dustin Mormon. She was preceded in death by her mother and brother David Mormon. Family and friends will gather on Friday, December 21 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon in the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main Street, Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Ladoga Cemetery.
