Linda B. Bookout, 80, of Anderson, passed away at her home on May 28, 2023. Linda was born on April 16, 1943 in Elwood to the late Halton and Nora (Trout) Walman. She married her loving husband, Terry Bookout, and they were married for 45 years. Linda held numerous jobs, including Guide Corp.
Linda will be dearly missed by her husband, Terry; children, Laurinda (John) Moran of Caribou, Maine, Patricia Merritt of Anderson, Belinda “Sue” Beckley of Sebring, Florida, Jeffrey Beckley of Anderson, Joseph Spillman of Chesterfield, and Jennifer Bookout of Anderson; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amy Spillman; granddaughter, Christina Lawson; brothers, Halton Walman and Terry Walman; sister, Juanita (John) Davis; and mother and father-in-law, Edna and Herman Bookout.
