Sharon Kay Batts, 69 years old of Jamestown, IN, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was born January 15, 1946 in Bloomington, IN, daughter of Harry and Lois (Smith) Games. Sharon was a member of Advance Community Christian Church. She was an avid reader of Steven King novels and enjoyed many years taking tickets for IU Athletics. In addition to her husband, Marion Batts she is survived by her children, Symantha (Justin) Wilburn sons, Mark (Gerri) Pearman, Michael (Anita) Pearman, Terry (Jodi) Pearman, Jim Batts (Kathy Luzar), Deborah (Terry) DeVaney, Greg (Lisa) Batts and Randy (Lisa) Batts, sisters, Becky Williams, and Donna Bevis, brother, Ben (Denise) Games, grandchildren; John Mark Pearman II, Benjamin Pearman, Megan Pearman, Natalie Pearman, Jessica Pearman, Brittany Pearman, Bethany Pearman, Eric Lee Landrum, Grant Douglas Landrum, Sarah Jo Landrum, Thomas Pearman, Jacob Pearman and Samuel Pearman, Allison DeVaney, Emily DeVaney, Alex Batts, Stephanie Batts, Zachary Batts and Laura Batts, great-grandchild, Carson Pearman, Jim Pearman, the father of her children and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Leslie Pearman, sisters, Frieda Morgan, Shirley Aull and Patty Games and brother Dennis Games. Family and friends will gather Thursday, November 19, 2015, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Advance Community Christian Church. Service will be held immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Ronald Batts officiating. Sharon will be laid to rest in the Old Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E. 86th St. Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240-1848.
