William Demaree

William Demaree, 79 of New Ross, IN, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 in SHC at Parkwood. He was born July 27, 1936 in Lebanon, IN, son of William and Irene (Campbell) Demaree. William was a member of New Ross United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and was a volunteer firefighter with the Walnut Township Fire Department. He served his country in the US Air Force as a firefighter. He is survived by sons, Bill (Tammy) Demaree of New Ross, Robert Scott Demaree of Crawfordsville and Bradley James Demaree of Crawfordsville, grandchildren, Brandon Demaree, Megan Demaree, Kayla (Richie) Corbett, Emily Demaree, Evan Demaree and Jordan Demaree, great-grandchild, Graceson Demaree, sister, Donna (Dana) Cheesman of Noblesville and brothers, Danny (Diane) Demaree of Lebanon and David (Kim) Demaree of Thorntown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Demaree, parents, William & Irene Demaree, granddaughter, Kimberly Demaree and brother, Robert Demaree. Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life, Saturday, February 27, 2016, 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the New Ross United Methodist Church, New Ross, IN. A service will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Vickery officiating.
