Alpha Lee Caplinger,

Alpha Lee Caplinger III, 35, passed away on Nov. 15th, 2020. Born September 17th, 1985 in Indianapolis, IN to Alpha Lee Caplinger II and Tabatha Lynn Caplinger. He was a resident of Fort Wayne, IN at the time of his passing.Alpha was a family man who enjoyed teaching his children about video games, science, cooking, being as knowledgeable as possible, he loved to learn.Alpha is survived by his two sons, Alpha Lee Caplinger IV (13), Peyton Alexander Caplinger (10), and his daughter, Makenna Lynn Caplinger (9).He is also survived by his mother, Tabatha Caplinger; his sister, Samantha (Matthew) Caplinger; and his two brothers, Randy (Skyler) Caplinger and Zachary (Rachel) Caplinger. Six nephews, Tony, Zane, Lian, Levi, Carter, Matthew Jr and Holden.Alpha was engaged to be married to Tonia Byrd, and was survived by her and his two soon-to-be step-daughters, Addison (12) & Charleigh (4); and his two soon-to-be step-sons, Kade (11) & Karter (7).His father, Alpha Lee Caplinger II, preceded him in death in July 2020.A celebration of life will be held by the family, who will keep Alpha’s friends updated with the date and time.Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis Chapel.
