Ann B. Galvin

Ann B. Galvin, 88, of Zionsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Ann was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 17, 1935, a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Miller) Galvin. After graduating from Richmond High School, she went on to attend Indiana University, and graduated from the IU School of Business. Ann had a very successful career in executive management in the retail industry before retiring to Zionsville.

She was a dedicated Parishioner, supporter and volunteer at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church in Zionsville for over 30 years. She was a key board member of the Assistance League of Indianapolis, and also active in Kiwanis, P.E.O., and the Zionsville Women’s Club.

In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and book clubs.

Ann is survived by her nephew, Greg Galvin of Ithaca, New York and his children, Thomas, Kristen and Andrew, her Sister-in-law Linda Galvin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Niece-in-law Traci Galvin of Denver, Colorado.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 10:00 am to10:30 am followed by a Rosary before her funeral Mass at 11am, at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak St. Zionsville, IN 46077. She will be laid to rest at Zionsville Cemetery immediately following Mass. Her arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, Zionsville Chapel.
