September 29, 1968 - January 3, 2021

On January 3, 2021, loving mother and grandmother, April, passed away following a short illness at age 52.April loved painting and doing her crafts. She was a volunteer at the Indianapolis Zoo which she loved.� She loved spending time with her grandkids. She was known for her kindness and her compassionate spirit.She is survived by her sons: Kevin, Hiro and Cloud Sidwell; her mother: Janet Lundy Trombley of Hudson, Ma., her father: Robert Long of Mount Vernon, KY, her brother: Robert R. Long, sister-in-law: Kimberly Rose Long, and four grandsons: Ryder, Fury, Trevin and Branton, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in by death by her two children; Matthew and infant daughter, Heather.There are no services at this time; there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care of Indianapolis.

Ms April was the first person to welcome my family to our apartments when we moved in. From that day forward we became more than just Neighbor's. She had a tender hear and loved her boys to the fullest. She was a really special woman to my family and We will never forget her.
