Barbara Ann Hieston, 75 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Monday, November 22, 2010 in Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 24, 1935 in Elizaville, IN, daughter of the late John Henry and Bernice Virtue Lynch. She married Doyel Hieston in 1955 in San Diego, California. He survives. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Lebanon. Barbara worked at the Town & Country drive-in and the Western Boone cafeteria. She was a bus driver for Western Boone for 12 years. She also worked as a pharmacy assistant at Dairy Pharm Pharmacy in Jamestown, Hook Drug Store in Lebanon and CVS in Lebanon. Her hobbies were reading and knitting baby blankets and throws for all weddings. Surviving are her daughters, Lee Ann Sanders of Elizaville, Marijane Miller of Thorntown, sons, Allen Jay Hieston, Raymond William Hieston and George Afton Hieston II all of Jamestown, John Deeka Hieston of Crawfordsville, Steve Trace Hieston of New Ross, sisters, Helen Doolan of Lebanon and Lela Threlkeld of Thorntown, 19 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Jack Lynch and sister Betty Timmons. Friends will be received Friday, November 26, 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Harlan Kincade officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
