Barbara Louise Moore, 77, of Pendleton, passed away on October 6, 2023. Barbara was born on February 22, 1946 in Anderson to the late Leonard Jack and Rosalie B. (Metler) Olvey. Barbara married the love of her life, Thomas Wayne Moore, and the two were married for 60 years. She found her spiritual home at East Side Church of God and was a faithful member for many years. She loved playing Euchre and all sorts of games. Barbara also enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels out in her yard.
Barbara will be dearly missed by her husband, Wayne; son, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Moore; grandchildren, Brooke (Aaron) Grinstead, Tyler Foley, and Hunter Moore; and great-grandson, Levi Grinstead.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Christy Foley.
The visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre-Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, 46064. The funeral ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Kerry Robinson will be officiating. Burial will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be donated to Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness.
