Barbara S. Lamb, 85, of Indianapolis, formerly of Pendleton, passed away October 30, 2023.
She was born June 23, 1938 in Madison County, Indiana to the late Donald and Kathryn (Laymon) Wolf.
Barbara was a wife, mother and homemaker, additionally she had worked in the cafeteria at Pendleton Middle School and Pendleton Heights High School.
She was a 1956 graduate of Anderson High School and attended Indiana Business College.
Barbara was a member of Pendleton Christian Church. She loved cross stitching as well as traveling.
She is survived by children; James (Fay) Lamb of Sydney, Australia, Douglas (Linda) Lamb of Fairland, and Susan (Tom) Mathews of Pendleton; daughter-in-law, Carol Lamb of Carmel; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Sherry (Bob) Conner of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by parents; husband Earl D. Lamb who she married, November 24, 1956; a son, Richard “Rick” Lamb; and a sister, Donna Boyd.
The family would like to thank Hooverwood Living and ARN Hospice Group for all their love and care.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pastor Michael Canada officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
