My heart is sad, Aunt Bert, that you are no longer here with us but I am rejoicing that you are reunited with your parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and friends that have gone on before you. I am sure there is a great celebration happening right now as you are welcomed to your eternal life. I haven't seen you in 4 years but I will always cherish the memories of our last visit with you. May you rest in peace until we meet again. Your great niece, Debbie (Reeder) Kelly

I'm sad to lose my aunt Bertha yet blessed to have had her 97 years. It was sad when she moved to In from Ky but she made a good life. I missed her every day. Love, niece, Billie Jean

A sad day to lose someone so important in my childhood & growing up...I'm aunt Bertha's great niece from Ky. Bert made me feel special as a little girl as she played with me & bought me things I still have today. She was ahead of her time...she did it her way, was opinionated & a hoot! After she moved to Indy, I didn't see her often; however, we communicated on every holiday with cards & letters. I still have every one & Cherish the memories. So long Bert! You were one of a kind, entertaining & I'm blessed to have had you for a great Aunt... ❤
