Betty L. Allen of Indianapolis passed away on January 6, 2021 at Community Hospital East. Betty is a daughter of Irene Back Barnes and was born in Blackey, Kentucky.Betty is survived by her mother and her son, David Shawn Allen (Libby) also of Indianapolis, Indiana. David is Betty’s only child and \”the light of her life\”. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Bently. She was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Pugh. A visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Simplicity Funeral Home 7520 Madison Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 from 11 AM to 1PMA funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM with Chaplain Don Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
