Betty (Clara Elizabeth) Galbraith, 97, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at The Gathering Together in Plainfield, Indiana.She was born to David and Clara (Miller) Engelman in Fort Dodge, Iowa on May 26, 1918.Betty married Roy A. Galbraith�on July 27, 1940 and they lived most of their married life in Indianapolis.After Roy’s passing on June 18, 2001, Betty returned�to Indiana�from Florida.She loved being near her family and especially enjoyed the Galbraith Christmas bowling parties.Betty is survived by her daughter Carol J. Romine, Noblesville, IN and her son David L. (Myrna) Galbraith, Greenfield, IN.Also surviving are grandchildren David, Kevin, Lesley, Terri, Vicki, Roy, Ryan, and Ian along with�nineteen great grandchildren,�and three great-great grandchildren.A service will be conducted at 10:30 am on Friday, May 20 at Forest Lawn cemetery,�1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood,�with visitation at 10:00.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gathering Together hospice, 147 North Center Street,�Plainfield, Indiana� 46168.Arrangements:� www.simplicityfuneralandcremationcare.com
