Betty was a good friend to our family. every. visit to Indy I always aade a point to say hello, She was always so happy to take a moment and say hello and smile about her past. She was a lovely person who was an early part of our life. I always thought it amazing that these two ended up in the same facility. The circle of friends is amazing. I will always remember her as cupid. Love and peace to a gentle soul. Glen Quigley
James Quigley left a message on June 21, 2022:
My father, Harold Quigley, was a good friend of Carl Hatfield. As a result, Harold became acquainted with Carl's sister Betty. One day she suggested a blind date with one Wilma Casey of Indianapolis. Wilma became my mother and told her children years later that she told Betty that she did not like blind dates. Still, Harold and Wilma wed on June 2, 1940, went on to raise a family of three boys and two girls... and then later along came nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Wilma, now 103 years of age, resides in Laguna Hills, CA and is seen in the attached photo with her dear friend Betty when the two of them resided at The Arms in Greenwood, IN for a number of years. On behalf of the Quigley Family, I am sending my condolences to all of Betty's family members on their loss. I too was acquainted with that dear lady. She was as kind as they come, a gentle spirit with a fine sense of humor, a sweet smile and always a good word. She made the world a better place for having been in it. Lucky are we who knew her. Sincerely, Jim Quigley
