Billy Joe Fowler

On February 18, brother and friend, Billy Fowler, left this life after a long battle with addiction. The love and support of family and friends is not enough if one does not find the ability to love and accept themselves. Sadly, this was the case with Billy. For a brief time this past year our hopes were high as we spent time enjoying his company once again, but with addicts and alcoholics, one must learn to also enjoy their own company to succeed in sobriety. If not, the love of others matters not.Billy was preceded in death by his dad, Gilbert, and his mom and best friend, Marge. May her Energy greet and surround him as he finds Peace from his demons.Billy is survived by his sisters Sandy Ray (Terry), Susie Amico (Tony), Mary Oldham (Don), Cathy Krauser (Denny), Jerri Patrick (Pat) and brother Jimmy Fowler (Jan) along with extended family and friends who loved him and wanted nothing but to see him happy again. We will miss you little brother and you will always live in our hearts.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care in Indianapolis.
