Carolyn Jean Linton, 76 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Parkwood Health Care. She was born July 19, 1936 in Pittsboro, IN, daughter of the late Kenneth Randle and Hazel (Coons) Covey. She was a member of the Pittsboro Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Debbie (Debra) Sue Roetker and Donna Marie Graham (Scott Bundy), sons, Randle Fred Linton and Joseph Ray (Arla) Linton, brother, Donald Covey, sister, Rose Hilderbrand, grandchildren, Sarah Cooke, Jason Graham, Katie Strainer, Jamee Henry, and Joshua Linton, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Clarence Linton and brother, Keith Covey. Family and friends will gather Thursday, June 20, 2013, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Buddy Blanton officiating.
