Carolyn S. Demaree, 69 years old of Crawfordsville, IN, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Witham Memorial Hospital. She was born February 20, 1938 in Lebanon, IN, daughter of the late Kedrick Newton and Mary Florence Denny Newton. She was a member of New Ross United Methodist Church. She worked as a cook for several restaurants, was a manager at the Triangle and worked at Prairie Industries in Lebanon. Surviving are her husband, William F. Demaree of New Ross, sons, Billy Demaree of New Ross, Bobby Demaree of Crawfordsville, and Brad Demaree of Noblesville, brother, E.J. Newton of Lebanon, sister, Linda Doughty of New Ross and 6 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild. Friends will be received Thursday, July 5, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the New Ross United Methodist Church. Services will be held at New Ross United Methodist Church, Friday, July 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Rodger Ward and Joe Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IN 46052. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the New Ross United Methodist Church. www.robertporterfuneralhome.com
