Charles Edward Hine, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at age 88 on March 28, 2018 at his home in Zionsville.� Throughout Chuck’s life, his greatest joy was to spend time with his kids.� He was the only child of Bernice and Crystal Hine, born December 16, 1929 in Lebanon, Indiana.Chuck was a 1947 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.� Following high school, he went to Butler University to become a pharmacist, graduating in 1951.� In 1953 he moved his young family to Whitestown, Indiana buying Laughner’s Pharmacy where they stayed until moving Hine Pharmacy to Zionsville in 1964.Chuck was a member of Zionsville United Methodist Church.� When he sold his pharmacy in 1982 and retired, his love of photography led him to buy a postcard business, Indiana Scenic Images, which he worked for another 19 years.Chuck is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon (Scott) Hine; son, Ed Hine (Terri); daughters, Cheryil McAtee (Mark), Lisa Adkins (Paul); grandsons, Brian Hine (Karen), Chris McAtee (Cyndi), Michael McAtee (Kim); granddaughters, Emily Kail (David), Stacy McAtee, Danielle Wikert, Mia Adkins; great grandson, Brandon Kail, and great granddaughter, Emma Kail.� Also surviving are son-in-law, Mike Bear (Dianna) and step-brother, Dan Hale (Martha)Preceding him in death are his parents, Bernice and Crystal (Schenck) Hine; step-parents, Darrell and Nell (Hale) Gillaspie; daughters, Crystal Hine, Katy Spors, and Lori Bear; son-in-law, Paul Spors, and granddaughter, Kelly Jo McAtee.A Celebration of Life will be held at Zionsville United Methodist Church at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 5, 2018 to remember Chuck’s incredible spirit and love of life, family and community.Visitation will be at the church from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 and 9:00 to 10:00 am on Thursday, April 5, 2018. �A Masonic Service by the Charles F.
