On November 28th, Charles Pritchett, 96, of Lizton, joined his late wife Margaret (Evans) in heavenly peace. He was born on June 11, 1916. He was the fourth child of the late Luna (Bailey) and Steward Pritchett of Danville. He married Margaret Evans on February 12, 1939. She preceded him in death in 2006. He was preceded in death by his son, Darrell, daughter, Delores, brothers, Lowell and Jewell Pritchett, sisters, Thelma Pritchett and Rosemary Weddle and 2 great-grandchildren. Charles is survived by his son, Paul (Linda) Pritchett, daughters, Marilyn Brester and Bonita (Mike) Miller, daughter-in-law, Shirley Pritchett, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Danville High School. He was a farmer all of his life working the same farm since 1939. He also sold Oldsmobiles through Walters’ Oldsmobile in Danville for several years and bucket grain elevators for Bryant Poff and driers for American Grain Driers. Charles was a lifetime member of the Lizton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, IN. Service will be Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lizton United Methodist Church, Lizton, IN. Burial will follow at the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
