Charles Max Williams, 84, of Greenwood, passed away December 24, 2015. He was born July 21, 1931 in Columbus, IN to the late Charles and Janice (Boffo) Williams. He was married to Norma Williams for 60 years before she preceded him in death. Charles owned and operated Williams Insurance Agency. He was a member of the Prospect Masonic Lodge #714 F.&A.M., The Murat Shrine Band, American Legion Post # 264, Greenwood Community Band, Scottish Rite Orchestra, the 40 & 8 Band and Indianapolis News Boys Band.

Survivors include children Janice (Gary) Montgomery, Max Williams, Jenny (Bob) Caviness, Idella Duncan; brother James (Betty) Williams; sister Marjorie Harris; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 30 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood 46142 with a Masonic service at 7:00 P.M. Services will be 12:00 P.M., Thursday, December 31 at the funeral home. Burial at Westport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis 46240.
