Clarence Daniel Wood, II, Danny to his parents and siblings, Woody or Woodsey to his friends, Chief or Dan to his coworkers. Clarence was born on January 31, 1941 in Greenwood, Indiana. He passed early in the morning of January 26, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 80.Clarence grew up in Greenwood and Whiteland, Indiana before enlisting in the United States Air Force shortly after turning 21. He served for 28 years in the Air Force, and was stationed overseas several times in such locations as Japan and Germany.Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vivian; his brother, Michael, and his sisters, Betty Warner and Rita Kneller.Clarence is survived by his children, Kristina, Daniel, and Douglas; grandchildren, Lara, Olivia, Cameron and Bailey; brothers, David (Christine), Timothy (Charlia), Phillip (Lisa); sisters, Susan (Gary) Waltz, and Janice Wood.A visitation for Clarence will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 481 West Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46142. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 481 West Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46142.
