Craig Anthony Brunnemer, 47, of Pendleton, passed away on November 9, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood. Craig was born on October 20, 1973 in Elwood to Tim and Anna (Callaway) Brunnemer. He was a graduate of Elwood High School and Anderson University. Since 2013, Craig was the Golf Professional at Pebblebrook Golf Course. For those who knew Craig, they knew him to be a sports enthusiast. No matter the sport, Craig came out of his shell to share his knowledge and appreciation for sports. He was blessed that he could share his passion for sports with his children through their involvement in cross country, basketball and softball. Craig was also able to share his passion for sports by being the Head girls varsity basketball coach at Elwood High School. Craig was also a member of the Professional Golfers Association and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Craig was also an athlete in his own right. In high school, he played basketball and golf. He was the MVP his senior year at Elwood High School for basketball. Craig continued playing basketball and golf for Anderson University. Craig was, once again, the MVP his senior year at AU for basketball, and still holds the record for single game free throws at AU. Craig is survived by his wife, Keri Ann Brunnemer; daughters: Madison, Payton and Hailee Brunnemer; parents, Tim and Anna Brunnemer; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Connie Buck; brother, Timmy (Julie) Brunnemer; sister-in-law, Megan (Mike) Bouvat; grandmothers: Nancy Callaway; grandmother-in-law, Norma Jean Buck; nephews: Michael and Max Bouvat. Craig was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Callaway; grandfather-in-law, Phil Buck; grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Edwin and Vivian Moreillon. The family of Craig will receive friends from 1:00-5:00 PM Sunday at the Elwood Junior-Senior High School 1137 North 19th Street Elwood, IN. There will be a private family funeral service followed by burial at Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Elwood Girls Basketball in c/o the Elwood Athletic Department. The family is requiring all who attend the services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Anna, I am so very sorry to hear about your son, I didn't know Craig, but just wanted you to know how sorry I was to hear of his passing and will be keeping your family in my Prayers.

Our prayers and condolences for your loss. He will be missed. He was a great coach for our Lady Panthers and I know my former Lady Panther will forever hold his memory close to her heart #25.

Craig was simply kind and quiet. He always was happy to see you. I will miss him.

Craig had the unique ability to make those with whom he was in contact feel special and important. I saw him interact with many people in a very positive way. Keri and the girls...I am so sorry for the loss of Craig. He was a great man and always had a smile on his face. I'll never forget working with him at The Edge. Prayers for you all.

I'm so very sorry to hear this, may God keep you and comfort you during this most difficult time.

Craig was an wonderful soul. I had the pleasure of working for Craig for multiple years at Pebble Brook Golf Club and witnessed his leadership firsthand. He was a man of many hats and he had a heart larger than most. He cared much about his family and involvement in his daughters lives, always being sure he attended their games. Even if that meant driving around like a maniac on little hours of sleep, he was someone you could count on both personally and professionally. I am devastated to hear that he passed so soon but relieved to know he had a huge impact on the community around him. He will be missed greatly.

Very sorry to hear about Craig's passing. It was a pleasure both being his teammate at Anderson and to see the impact he had on those around him after college as a husband, father, and coach.
