Anne, Ryan, Laurie, Bryce, So sorry for your loss; Darcey was a special man. He was a positive influence to me and so many other Delt underclassmen during our short years in the shelter. He was encouraging, always inclusive, and supportive; a true Delt Brother. We all knew he was technologically gifted with a mechanical aptitude back then. One example I never forgot was on a road trip in John Wooldrige’s car that continued to overheat on our way home; it was Darcey that solved our collective problem and got us home safely. During chapter meetings, no one could tell a story to nominate a brother for the super shirt award like Darcey, Mike Mascoe was a frequent winner; always in good taste with good humor, that was Darcey’s way.
