Dewey Owens, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away February 20, 2016. He was born December 19, 1933 in Clay County, KY to the late Jerry and Victoria (Martin) Owens. He is survived by his wife Connie Owens; sons Don (Rebecca) Owens, Dillon Owens; daughters Debbie (Jeff) Scott, Lori (Bryan) Muncie; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his former wife Nancy (Johnson) Owens.There will be a memorial visitation 1 – 5 P.M., February 27 at Southwood Assembly of God, 8700 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis 46217. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission Ministries, 205 E. New York St., Indianapolis 46204.
