Edward “Bruce” Fergurson, 69, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Bruce was born on January 24, 1954, in LaGrange, GA and was raised by Red and Idell Yeager.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Sue; children: Matt (Emily) Fergurson, Heather (Joe) Ray and Christopher (Amber) Fergurson; two grandsons and seven granddaughters.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11am until 2pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46142. He will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at Greenwood Cemetery.

I will never forget the winter I had spun out on Smith Valley Rd. I was on top of a snow bank (how I got up there I will never know) and I was trying to figure out what to do. I looked up and at the drivers side window, you were standing there. You said you were taking Karen to work and you saw me and had to stop. You said you’d be back to help me, and me trying to be brave, told you not to worry about it. When I was safely in a parking lot, terrified to even try to drive, here you came and I just cried. We became best of friends! When you retired, I missed you, but now I won’t see you for a long time and I’m just not sure this giant hole will ever be filled. Miss ya buddy!
