Elizabeth “Toots” Floyd, 79, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on September8, 2023. Elizabeth was born on June 15, 1944 to the late Voyle and Lillian (Hunter) Riley.
Elizabeth worked for 34 years in the Anderson Community Schools in the cafeteria. And those schools include Franklin Elementary, Eastside Middle School, and Anderson High School. She really enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Elizabeth also enjoyed her family gatherings and going to lunch with her friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Kenbeth Floyd; sisters, Peggy (Ted) Burke, and Sharon (Jeff) Miller, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Rob Floyd; brother, Don Riley; sisters, Louise Kalandyk and Dona Easterly; husband, R. Kent Floyd
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Kempton Cemetery, Kempton, IN. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN, 46013.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to Madison County Humane Society.
