My dear sweet Ellen you are truly going to be missed. It was almost 16 years ago when we first met at South Shores in Las Vegas for one of Sam's events. Every year, I always looked forward to seeing you as we volunteered together for CPN. Your memory will last forever and I sure wish I had one of your hugs right now. Sending love, prayers and condolences to all of your family and friends. Dear Lord, You are the God who comforts us. I pray that You hold and embrace everyone whose hearts are hurting right now. Hold and embrace us, Father. Wrap us with love and remind us all, that even though we have lost someone dear to us, we are not alone, for You are with us always and will walk us through our grief. Amen

Jim and Mary , So many wonderful memories of growing up and spending time with my cousins!! Ellen was the one who got me interested in Indy car racing. What a fantastic experience. I am sorry that I hadn't seen her for awhile. I will miss her so much. Love you Ellen.

So sorry about Ellen. I found a scripture I like to share at JW.org, Acts 24:15, "there is going to be a resurrection," I wish your family the very best for the future.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I graduated with Ellen in 1966. The thing I remember most about her was that she was always smiling. She was always so sweet and kind to me. Jim and Mary - I am so sorry for your loss. I know Ellen will really be missed.

Sadness encompassed me when I heard of Ellen’s passing, but then my thoughts turned to Joy, the joy knowing what an amazing life of giving and love she shared every moment of her life. I met Ellen decades ago and am thankful for knowing her. She was constantly upbeat and one of the last caring sole to ever walk the Earth. Her constant compassion and volunteerism are unmatched and she did it with a humble appreciative attitude that required no acknowledgments or accolades. Humanities lost a great person with Ellen no longer smiling at us and opening those arms for another hug. She is missed already and will be missed more as time goes on. Rest in Peace beautiful lady, Rest in Peace.
