Emily Susan Renforth, 70, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born June 4, 1953, in Indianapolis to the late, Gerald & Viola (Neely) Conniff. Emily retired from Chase Bank having worked in a variety of positions over 44 years. In her free time, Emily loved arts, crafts, spending time at the Casino, or vacationing to a beach. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.
Emily is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joseph “Joe” Renforth; son, Jason Renforth; daughter & son-n-law, Erin & Eric Pulliam; grandson, Ethan Pulliam; sister, Clarie Winters; brothers, Joseph & Paul “Johnny” Conniff; and her four-legged companion, Bella. She was preceded by her parents; son, Brian Joseph Renforth; siblings, Margaret Newman & Eddie Conniff.
Services will be 10 am Saturday October 14, at Singleton & St. Pierre Funeral & Cremation Services with Chaplain Mike Mercer officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

I'm one of Jason's childhood friends and just wanted to share that she was always wonderful to me. I grew up pretty poor and spent half of my early childhood at the house raiding the fridge and eating all of her good tv dinners, keeping her up all night playing video games, and causing general mayhem. Joe can confirm this. She never seemed to mind and always welcomed me and basically helped raise me like one of her own. I lost my mom very early and she was like a second mother to me. She was a great mom and genuinely sweet person who will be missed.

Best memories growing up with all my Aunts and Uncles was when I was finally old enough to hold my own at the card table. Oh the stories to be told.
