Eugene Finchum, 89 years old of Indianapolis, IN, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 in St. Francis Hospital. He was born October 27, 1921 in Danville, IN, son of the late William Riley and Laura Malicoat Finchum. He served in the US Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Juanita Finchum and daughter, Judy Johns, brothers, Vernie Finchum of Plainfield and Danny Finchum of Beaver Creek, OH, and sister, Betty Jean Spear of Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by brothers, Chester L Finchum, Riley Finchum, Jr., Jack Lee Finchum, and sisters, Jo Ellen Marie Finchum and Marjorie Runion. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Monday, November 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Art Thomas officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.robertporterfuneralhome.com
