Frances Marie Phillips, 96 passed away September 6, 2015. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born September 10, 1918 in Indianapolis to the late William and Cecil (Scott) Cawley.She is survived by her son, Ronald Phillips. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Phillips; brothers, Ivan, Ilaf, and Jasper Scott; and her sister, Chelsea Scott.A service will be conducted at 1:00pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Friends may call from 12:00-1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Frances will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army.
