George S. Bond

George S. Bond died peacefully at home on his birthday, October 10th at the age of 96. He was a graduate of Purdue, Navy officer from WWII,� Elder in the Presbyterian Church, member of the Army Navy Club and advocate for mental health.� George owned and ran a publishing company (The George S. Bond Co.) for many years before retiring.� He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years – Mary Hall Bond.� He is survived by four daughters� Alice Waid (Lee), Emily Gilchrist (Howdy), Marcia Angstadt (Gary) and Nina Jordan (Rick) and six grandchildren.� The family plans a private ceremony at a later date.� If desired, a contribution in George’s memory may be made to the local charitable organization of one’s choice.
