Glen Eugene “Gene” Holliday age 83, of Greenfield, IN. passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021. He was born October 22, 1937 in Hancock Co. the son of the late Paul B. and Dorothea (Spegal) Holliday. Gene was employed by IMI as a truck driver for 26 years before retiring. He was a Steward for the Teamsters Union and a member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ. His hobbies were singing, woodworking, playing golf and IU basketball, but his real love was family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Moore) Holliday of Greenfield; daughters, Lori (Mark) Cook of Greenfield, Beth (Don McFadyen) Holliday of Danville, Gena (Ted) Loggan of Rush County, Trisha (Ryan) Seybold of Greenfield, six grandchildren; Christopher (Katie) Cook, Casey ( Chelsea) Cook, Amy McFadyen, Megan Neff, Briley Loggan and Blaine Loggan, great grandchildren; Jase Cook, Roxanne Cook, Savannah Cook, siblings; Ruth (Jim) Barnhart, Sue Holmes, and Steve (Candy) Holliday. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Norman Holliday, Bud Holliday, Butch Holliday, Richard Holliday and Linda Townsend. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilkinson Church of Christ in Wilkinson, IN. with Ryan Seybold officiating. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN. 38101-9908
