Glenda M. White

Glenda M. White, of Greenwood Indiana passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. She was 76 years old. Glenda was born in Indianapolis to the late Robert and Janie (Collins) Hook on October 05, 1947. She worked many years in administration for Irving Materials Incorporated. Glenda enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching I.U. basketball. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and extended family.

Glenda is survived by her children, Sonia Kirk (Geoff), Jerry Taylor (Mandy), and Jennifer Ash; bonus children, Rick White (Carol), Cindy Jeffers, Terrie Hatfield (Mark), Blake White (Ann) and Tracie Bingham (Keith); extended family friend, Tyra; sister, Sandy Purvis (Bob); grandchildren, Jordan, Janele, Ashlee, Zachary, Douglas, Thomas, Madison and Dezi; several bonus and extended grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several bonus great-grandchildren, and thirteen extended great-grandchildren who called her “Nana Grandma”.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack White; daughter, Michele Miller and grandson, Jonathan Gee.

A memorial service for Glenda will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 1:00 PM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel, with a gathering from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
