Gloria McKinney, 80 years old of Advance, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Homewood Health Campus. She was born August 5, 1934 in Danville, IN, daughter of the late Orval and Ruth (Ragsdale) Hancock. She attended Church of God of Prophecy and was a member of the Lebanon Eagles. She worked for Raybestos for 30 years, retiring in 2004. Surviving are sons, Ronnie McKinney of Lebanon, Rory McKinney of Jamestown, David (Beverly) McKinney of Lebanon, Charles McKinney of Lebanon, Dale McKinney of Advance, Darrell McKinney of Advance, daughter, Kathy (Joe) Schrier of Shannondale, grandchildren, Brian (Jamie) Pratt of Frankfort, Mike (Lisa) McKinney of Fort Wayne, Bianca McKinney (Zach Holaday) of Brownsburg, Brandy Martin of Indianapolis, Tom Schrier of Iowa, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, LaVerne Castleman and Dorothy Jarret brothers, “Bus” Melvin Hancock and Charlie Hancock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bearl Jack McKinney and 1 siblings. Family and friends will gather Friday, August 15, 2014, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m. Gloria will be laid to rest in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
