Harriet Delilah (Chew) Boyer

95 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, October 30, 2023. Harriet was born in Glenns Valley, Indiana to Martha (Glenn) Chew and Ralph Chew on May 18, 1928. She grew up on a farm and was the youngest of six sisters and two brothers.

Harriet graduated from Southport High School in 1948. She worked at Bobbs-Merrill until starting her family with Carl Boyer on August 14, 1953. The joy of her life was her two children, Carl Boyer III and Nancy Boyer Patterson (husband Pat); five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She loved Christmas, shopping, and spending time with her family. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Carl Boyer, on March 18, 1997.

Funeral service will be 11:00a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, with a visitation one hour prior at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral & Cremation Services 7602 Madison Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
