Ima “Yvonne” Beckley, 90, of Greenwood passed away on December 25, 2020. Yvonne was born to the late Ora and Goldie Dye on March 22, 1930 in Alvy, West Virginia. She married James A. Beckley October 3rd, 1946. They enjoyed 65 years together until his passing in 2011. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, and faithful member of Acton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Yvonne is preceded in death by two of her children, Stephen Beckley, and Carol Hamilton; grandson, Joseph Beckley; brother, Robert Dye; and sisters, Margaret McDonald, Joann Tillison, and June Brooks. She is survived by her son James Michael Beckley (Connie); five grandchildren, Michelle, Chris, Susan, Sam, and Lindsey; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services for Yvonne are Thursday, December 31 at 11:00 AM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel with visitation on Wednesday, Dec 30 from 4-8:00 PM. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery. Due to current safety concerns, properly worn face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
