Gladys Irene Linn, 86, of Jamestown, died Monday November 11 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. The daughter of the late Roy C. and Minnie E. (Baugh) Marsh; Irene was born July 29, 1927 in Clermont, Indiana. Irene attended Dover High School and was a member of New Ross Christian Church. She worked as a secretary with the Schooler Grain, Inc. for 7 years and held various positions over the years. Other memberships included the New Ross American Legion Auxiliary, Gideons International and the Travel Club of Crawfordsville. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and spoiled them rotten with her wonderful cooking. They will always remember G.G. making snickerdoodles She is survived by her children Leon A. (Lisa) Ford of Pleasant View, Indiana, E. Dianne Henry of Westfield and Donna E. (Greg) Pitner of Bloomington, Indiana; six grandchildren; Daron Henry (Nami Lee), Caron Ash (Todd), Tara Linville (Jim), Mark Ford (Pam), Ryan Pitner (Kelly), Erik Pitner (Liz), twelve great-grandchildren; four step-children, Jeff (Ginnie) Linn, Richard (Mary) Linn, Janis (Larry) Miethe and Cheryl (Kenny) McMullen; eleven step-grandchildren and twenty-nine step-great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Denney; second husband Verlin R. Ford; third husband, Raymond G. Linn; brothers, James March and Charles Marsh and her infant daughter, Darlene. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, November 14 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main Street, Jamestown. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Harlan Kincade officiating. Gladys will be laid to rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
