Jack L. Hendricks, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 3, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on September 26, 1932, in Bloomington. Jack was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Hendricks, his son, Douglas Hendricks, his sister, Judith Walters, and his brothers, Jerry Davis and John Davis. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jacquelyn Myers Hendricks, his sister, Margueritte Kinser, and his brother, Don Hendricks.
Jack attended Bloomington High School and went on to pursue a BS in Business at Indiana University.
He proudly served in the US Navy and had a successful career as an accountant. Jack was also the owner of several Wendy’s Restaurants.
Jack was a passionate fan of IU Basketball and Football. He enjoyed boating and fishing at his winter Home in Naples, Florida. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed playing golf, a hobby that brought him joy throughout his life.
A memorial gathering to honor Jack’s life will be held on Thursday, October 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Plainfield Christian Church or the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
