Jacqueline “Jackie” Carol Wildey

Jacqueline “Jackie” Carol Wildey, Of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was 92 years old. Jackie was born on December 25, 1931, in Peoria, Illinois to the late John and Hazel (VanLaningham) King. Jackie married the love of her life, Glen Wildey Sr. on February 28, 1953. Together they raised three children and were happily married until Glen’s passing on December 1, 1990. Jackie was employed by the former A & P grocery store, the Greenwood Public Library, and Kroger as head cashier. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Jackie was a very independent women who continued to drive until the age of eighty-eight. She was a member of several card clubs and was an avid euchre player.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jackie is preceded in death by two children, Glen Wildey Jr., and Rex Allen Wildey. She is survived by a son, Richard “Rick” Wildey (Karen); grandchildren, Aaron Wildey (Malinda), Casey Wildey (Jayne), Daniel Wildey, and Danielle Wildey; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Gabe, Isaiah, Morgan and John John, and great-great-grandchildren, Madeline, and Everett.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 21^st from 2-4:00 pm at The Civic Room at Aspen Trace Family- First Senior Living, 3154 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. 46143. Final arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel.
