Mr and Mrs DeShong made a big impression on me when I arrived as Moe's friend from Australia all those many years ago. They welcomed me as one of the family and made me feel right at home. Jim was a very caring man with a zany sense of humour. I admired the way he set a fine Christian example for his family. Our condolences to Gwen and all the family. He will be greatly missed.
