James Edison Fink, 86, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He was a former resident of Indianapolis and a resident of Franklin. He was born August 24, 1924 to the late Joseph Loy and Mary Jewell Frances Fink. He leaves behind a sister, Alberta Corrine (Fink) Burkett, daughter, Angel (Fink) Miller, son, Jerald Fink, grandchildren, Mike and Abithina Miller, 10 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. James was born in Freedom, KY but moved to Glasgow, KY where he stayed until he was 17 years old. On January 1, 1942 he joined the Navy and served until January 1, 1964. James worked for Grant King Racing for 20 years, retiring at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Gladys Lucille (Fink) Emberton, Goldie Lee Fink and Carleen Fern (Fink) Randall and a son, Mike Fink. Friends will be received Saturday, October 2, 2010, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, IN.
