Jay Archie Judd, 84 passed away July 21, 2015. He was a resident of Greenwood. He was born December 31, 1930 in Baker, Montana to the late Archie and Carrie (Brakefield) Judd.
He married Helen (Jones) Roth Judd on August 17, 1962 and she lovingly survives him. He is also survived by his children, Jeffrey (Alyssa) Judd; Michelle (Matthew) Graham; step children, Betty (Oren) Flake, Karen McIntire, Mark Roth, and Cindy (Mike) Poland; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Jeanette Johnson and Jessie Osborn. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Judd.
Jay was a graduate of Fremont High School in Fremont, Michigan and attended Butler University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served our country during the Korean War. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, past president of Greenwood Little League and past member of D.A.V. and Greenwood Rotary. Jay later retired from Johnson Controls.
A service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 305 Howard Rd, Greenwood, with calling there at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the service time. Friends may visit from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Jay will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Concordia Lutheran Church.
